Early Navajo tufa stone cast silver cross. It is sterling silver, but likely much higher than 925. It looks like .999 silver as it is very white with no tarnish. Likely made from melted Mexican coins of the day. The stone is clean blue turquoise in a very primitive bezel with an uneven edge. Cross is not marked with metal purity. It is 2 3/8” tall. The chain is a vintage replacement that is period appropriate. Chain is 18” long and tarnished. Weight: 14.5 grams
